i would like to toss into consideration for "media that caine would be devastated by": hadestown. were any greek myths included in his training data? what if he doesn't know. i think the ending would get him so hard.
also the story of a man who's so scared of losing his loved ones that he holds on so tightly he losing them, no matter how much he's gilded their cage? having to remember WHY he loves them?
and the man who looks back, who will always look back, because to look back is to love. hesitating at the threshold? moments from freedom... but what if he's alone?

God Caine holding on too tight that he hurts them, that he gets angry at them for wanting to leave, that he can’t even remember what real love is. And like Orpheus, so focused on his creation that he believes will fix everything he forgets to pay attention to the ones around him. AND THEN HES TOO LATE AND THEYVE LEFT HIM!!!
