Interviewer: So, when did you move here?

Sam: Does it matter? I’ve been here for six years. I arrived sometime in March, but the first of spring to the inhabitants of the valley.

I: Why did you come to the valley?

S: There was a corpse where I worked, and I was tired constantly. I barely functioned.

I: Do you enjoy the valley?

S: Yes, but sometimes I wish I had time to go home.

I: What are you currently working on?

S: Driving Pierre and Joja out of business. One overprices and the other practically steals your stock.

I: How would you rate Pelican Town?

S: Good for a holiday, but certainly not perfect. 4.5/10.

The bus ride had been painful,to say the least. A road seemingly made out of potholes was not a very enjoyable experience. When I got there, I was escorted to my new farm. Then- and only then, I realized even though I had been holding my luggage on the way out of the bus, I did not have it now and neither did anyone else. The mayor came out of my house, and I was not pleased. I told him quite clearly that he shouldn’t go round poking through the dead’s houses. He didn’t seem to hear me, going on about the town. Pierre was the first person I met of my own will- that man is as slimy as snail. I later learned he passed of my produce as his own. After meeting the rest, and only really liking Abigail and Emily, Mayor Lewis dragged me to the community center. He didn’t say why it had been falling out of repair except for teenagers not participating within the community- but I know Penny does her best to help the elderly within the village and teaches the youngest children, Emily works part-time at the saloon, Maru works part-time at the doctor’s, Haley doesn’t do that- she takes beautiful pictures that could be used to advertise the valley, and all that kind of stuff! The only real answer is the mayor has been using tax payer money to do something definitely shifty. Jojacorp has allowed access into the mines, which seem like a fun place to check out in the Winter. I’m beginning to forget what months are- it’s a good thing I have a Zuzu City calendar so I don’t forget my own birthday.

I’m scared of this place. It feels like a Saccharine Mask has been placed over it to hide the truth- it’s rotting here.

She changes her look randomly, and with it her whole life too. All that’s consistent is her marriage, with Penny. uwu.

She sold all her animals, because they took a toll. If she could, she’d run for mayor, and probably win the poll!

She hates Mayor Lewis; she knows the teenagers work. What does he do as mayor? Hire shitty clowns to lurk?

Sam likes to mine, a single prismatic shard. The only one she’s ever had, though witches and fairies have crossed her yard.

Sam dreams of riches, and space travel too. Penny was not her first crush here- that title belongs to Maru!

She’s reached the bottom of the shaft, she’s mined a meteorite or two, but even so with all of this- in winter a cold draft blows through.
