I’ll be honest, I personally don’t mind any of the dialogue in crossworlds! I think it’s fitting for the characters to be either overly mean or more defensive, since it’s a high pressure racing setting! High pressure does that to you! But I do think you’re right in that they’re trying to make shadow go back to being this ‘edgy cool guy with no friends and no one ever because he’s too cool and silent for that. Rah’
