The name is inspired from Dickens Bleak House. A growlery is an old English term that is a refuge and retreat in one's own house. They have an artist in Residence program where the artist live in the house and create art during one to three month stints with a final exhibit to display their creations. San Francisco Mission District. This is a slightly different look for Kershnar. However you can still see what we think of as his stain glass style. He created this and other stickers and art last summer for a show at skate deck shop Element in Paris where he said get Medieval Gothic. He is currently at The Growlery that is a place for artists to live, work and show. You know this is a fit for Kershnar they have a skate ramp in the basement!
