When the two brunki's Tank and Kurtis meet, Galileo finds out that the owner of Kurtis happens to be his own grandfather, Starrington Swampson! The two then reunites together sharing a wholesome moment together.

Ps, Pa Star is what Galileo calls Starrington since everybody has a name for their grandpas.

Plot: Hoping to become the most famous Groundling in the world, Mud/Slinger finds fame by making fungus cookies with his newest invention, the Mud-a-phone. Unfortunately, a marauding swarm of crunchybugs aren’t very happy. That’s because crunchybugs eat fungus!

Story told by Eco:

In the far-off kingdom of Rampur, there lived a poor boy named Samil. One day, in the jungle, Samil found a creature that looked like a monkey caught in a trap; his name was Alfonso. In return for releasing him, Alfonso gave him a beautiful mango, which is a special kind of fruit, as a gift. But Samil knew this special mango could fetch a good price in the market. That day, the ruler of Rampur himself came to the market and asked the price of the beautiful mango.

"One silver piece," Samil answered.

"What?! No mango is worth such a sum! You will be put into prison for cheating customers!"

Then the ruler chomped into the mango.

"Fantastic! I will pay a gold piece for every such mango you can provide!"

Samil got as many mangoes as he could carry and ran straight to the palace. The next day, Samil went back to the jungle to get more, but he found Alfonso lying on the ground, starving. You see, the mangoes were Alfonso's only food and the tree was now bare. Higher and higher Samil climbed until he was high above the clouds. At the top of the tree, he found the last mango. He plucked it and slid down, down, down to the ground and from that day on, Samil never took more than one mango and he made sure there were always plenty for Alfonso to eat.

GROUNDLING MARSH

I will admit when I got to Mudslinger my hand gave up lol. I had a lot of fun doodling my faves from my childhood show! I wonder how many other groundlings are out there?

Plot: Galileo builds a boat to complete a mission of sailing to Mount Mumblemoo. But first, he has to overcome his fear of water.

Story told by Eco:

The people of the kingdom of Dala were very unhappy because they had a mean and grumpy king. His name was King Bola. He was so mean some days he would make everyone walk backwards just to see them trip and fall. On other days, he would make everyone balance a banana on their nose. Anyone who couldn't would have to stay in bed all day. Now there was a little boy in the kingdom of Dala named Ram. Ram hated backwards-walking days and banana-balancing days and all the other mean things King Bola made the people of Dala do. One day, Ram went to King Bola and asked him who was the most important person in the kingdom. King Bola answered,

"Why me, of course! I can do anything I want!"

"Anything?" said Ram.

"Anything!" said King Bola.

"Why, can you make your guard stand on his head?"

"Just like that," the king replied.

"Why, can you turn Gulu the elephant pink?"

"Just like that," the king replied.

"Can you stop the sea from rising?"

The king raised his arms and cried, "Just like that!" But the waves came in and covered King Bola from his toes to the top of his headdress. When the people of the kingdom of Dala heard how Ram had tricked King Bola, they all laughed. King Bola was so embarrassed that he went to bed and ate nothing but porridge, and thanks to Ram, the people of Dala never listened to King Bola again.

Plot: Galileo gets a new pet rainbow-colored Featherbeam, but it soon suffers from a mysterious disease. He soon discovers that the only thing to make the creature feel better is freedom.

Story told by Eco:

One day, a lonely little girl was playing by the sea when she saw an astounding sight: some fisherman had caught a mermaid! The mermaid struggled, but the net held her tight. The little girl heard the fisherman say that they could sell the mermaid to a carnival for a fortune in gold. As soon as they were gone, the little girl knew what she had to do. She took a deep breath, dove into the water and freed the poor mermaid. The mermaid told the little girl that she would grant her a wish. The little girl immediately asked the mermaid to come live with her and be her friend. The mermaid tried to be a friend to the little girl; their favorite game was Go Fish. But gradually, the mermaid stopped talking, her tail became dry and the only thing she wanted to do was sleep. The little girl realized the mermaid missed her friends and the sea and the fresh salty air. She would have to let the mermaid return to her home, but that didn't stop them from being friends for they will always meet where the shore met the sea and the lonely little girl would never be lonely again.

Plot: Hegdish tricks Crystal into taking him to find massive, rare underground berries. However, he finds out that his tricks have consequences when he needs help to save Galileo.

Story told by Eco:

Once there was a shepherd boy; it was his job was to watch his flock of sheep in a field outside the village. There was so little to do, one day he decided to have some fun.

"Help! Help!" he cried. "Wolf! Wolf! The wolves are among my lambs!"

All the villagers came running with hoes and pitchforks to save their flock from the wolves.

The boy laughed and said, "There are no wolves, and you all looked so funny running so fast, panting for breath."

The villagers all went back to their work, not to pleased that the shepherd boy had fooled them. Twice, three times more the shepherd boy cried "Wolf! Wolf!" and twice, three times more the villagers ran to help. The boy thought this was a great joke, but one day the wolves did come and as they began to make off with the sheep, the shepherd boy ran crying for help.

"You'll not fool us again!" the villagers said, and kept at their work.

No one would help the shepherd boy, so the shepherd boy lost all his sheep and no one ever trusted him again.

Plot: Maggie is visited by Jojo, a bird who can talk but is only allowed to speak to one Groundling per year. Jojo tells Maggie that Hegdish is in trouble, but when Maggie tries to warn the others, they don't believe her.

Story told by Eco:

Hobart was a hedgehog who lived with his friends at the side of a pretty stream. One day after a huge rainfall, the stream started to rise. Soon it would cover the homes of all the hedgehogs.

"What are we going to do?" cried the hedgehogs.

"Maybe we could build new homes in the grassy meadow on the other side of the stream," said one.

But the stream was too deep and there was no way for the hedgehogs to get across. Besides, a family of cats lived in the grassy meadow and they were always playing tricks on the hedgehogs so the hedgehogs didn't like them. Never did, never will. Well, that is except for Hobart; his best friend Charlie was a cat. While Hobart sat on his side of the stream watching it get higher, Charlie approached him. He told Hobart of a tunnel that went under the stream and would get Hobart and his friends to the grassy meadow safely. Hobart ran to tell the hedgehogs the good news, but they didn't believe it.

"That cat is trying to trick you, Hobart," they said.

But Hobart knew the cat was telling the truth.

"I believe my friend," said Hobart, "and I'm going into the tunnel."

And so he did, and Charlie was right. The tunnel led under the flooded stream to the nice grassy meadow where Hobart made a new home. The rest of the hedgehogs saw Hobart on the other side of the stream and realized the cat had told the truth.

"I guess we should have trusted our friend," said the hedgehogs as they sat in their soggy homes and looked longingly at Hobart who romped with the cat family in the nice dry meadow.
