I've been thinking about him. I'm understanding the story better somehow, even though I don't feel like I really remember any of it. I've also missed him. I don't know if it's because I'm struggling so much by myself it's hard to to hold myself up. I started tearing up in class because I'm afraid Xiomara sees me the same way he does, did- draining and hopeless. That was the first time I've cried, besides last week, and instantaneously, and it was so embarrassing, my finance teacher would look at me, I hope I didn't look sad or my eyes didn't look red, I hope he chalks it up to yawns. I don't know, sometimes my sadness can be absolutely palpable. It's just been hard, okay. I feel like we're past the first bend of the grind season, starting and going, I'm reaching the middle stretch now and it's endless and I am struggling. Work has become more real and defining and pressing, like everything counts, even the things that take off points. I don't know if it's in my head, but I'm not anywhere. I think I'm doing really, really bad at work. I feel like today was bad. I kept flipping through three different assignments and it gets me mixed up sometimes. Idk I should be more clear headed. I feel like it shows. I'm deeply ashamed. I wonder how much of it is amplified by my breakup, how deep it's made itself. I wish I could call it quits, but I want to succeed, I want to get everything I set out for this semester established. I can't give up, there's no option but forward in some way.
