i probably dont actually draw scout and v1s height difference correctly tbh scout is 4'11 and i like tall v1 so thats like at the LEAST. a foot difference. but im probably not making v1 under 6 ft

morning before worktime. some scout musings
i dont have a solid idea yet of what happens to scout after zophiels gone, but one thing i considered is maybe they accidentally find gabriel down in hell, maybe in trechery, maybe earlier. mostly because i think interactions between the two would be really, really funny. and probably genuinely interesting and even healing. but funny.
for one, scout going from being raised catholic, to losing belief as a teen, to being entirely uncaring as an adult either way (basically being like there might be a god but whats it matter to me), to literally becoming a divine being and finding out God is real but he left... its interesting thinking of how they interact with the angels
zophiel isnt really a traditional angel like the others so once the initial bitterness over the situation fades and when zophiel isnt off being loveydovey with v1 while scout can only watch from a distance, scout actually gets along with zophiel. the divinity is there in aesthetic and words but scout genuinely could forget that zophiel is an angel if zophiel didnt look so angelic
i feel like itd be different with someone like gabriel. and after slaughtering the council? scout would 100% be soooo interested in learning more about him. they probably wouldve been earlier if they knew about his kindness n stuff but their first impression was the slaying of minos and sisyphus told by zophiel so. lmao.
i think honestly scout and gabriel could find some healing in each other. just talking. after all, scout has certainly had more time coming to terms with a God that doesnt care. also scouts queer. so theres that. genderless baddies unite i guess?
but of course this is just based off what we even have ingame right now. who knows what gabriels up to or how he feels about things at this point. hes had the entirety of violence and fraud to think about things so.
on the funnier note though, its really funny the idea of them talking about V1. i feel like theyre on a spectrum of loving(? questionable on gabriel's part depending) V1 in very, VERY different ways. gabriel talking about tasting his own blood for the first time at the hand of the machine and scout isnt like disgusted or even surprised, theyre just like yeah i dont know, i just think its neat. i would prefer the lack of my own blood being involved though.
