Someone was honestly offended about the kids in lions arch who were aware that Kasmeer and Marjory are a couple, so I decided to call them on their bs.
Names are censored because forum names are IGNs and Tumblr has a bad habit of doxxing.
Feel free to use any of these actual citable pieces of information to shut down map chat homophobes or even homophobes in your local area. Any homophobes really. I’m particularly fond of the “don’t touch flying insects with four legs” because it points out that swatting a mosquito is on par with being gay if you’re gonna play the bible card.

14. how did you feel about the Personal Story’s ending?
I enjoyed it! It was a little anticlimactic, given how the rest of the story was leading up (especially with how BEAUTIFUL the cleansing of Orr scene was), but I think it’s especially hard to make the slaying of a creature that’s so absolutely huge feel realistic while appealing to that need for dramatic closure.
Running at Zhaitan with normal weapons was going to feel fake, so the giant laser canon was necessary, but it did depersonalize Zhaitan’s death and make it feel easier than it should have. I’m interested to see what they will do with the slaying of Mordremoth.

I used to think it was guardian, but ever since I got past the steep steep learning curve that was figuring out mesmer, I’ve been head over heels. I can’t wait for chrono!!

4) what kin of climate are they least comfortable in?
Desert. He hates the desert. He can tolerate the cold and the snow but the dry air is terrible in comparison to the steamy hot jungle.
6) what’s their relationship with the Pale Tree?
In a word, complicated. This actually has a bit of an arc over the course of his story. Though he’s not fond of admitting it, Dai harbors quite a bit of jealousy in his heart over what other members of his race experience. His dream was quiet and dull, almost listless. There was little to remember, and no driving force that he awakened with. He heard others who awakened talking about grand purpose and dreams that showed them pieces of their destiny and felt forsaken.
Despite the Pale Tree having no influence on the Dream, this resentment manifested mostly toward her, and while he does not wish harm upon her or the others of his race, he decided very quickly that the grove had nothing to offer him, and finds the connection he feels with other sylvari uncomfortable.
I'm not a hardcore GW2 player and I've been away from the game for quite some time... But about the condi thing, I thought it was discouraged, at least in pve, because condis didn't stack well. Like... Some conditions just didn't and then they'd get overridden by someone else's so the damage wouldn't finish. I mean, that's specifically just world bosses, so every other instance, condi's great... But that's the only time.. I'd see to not use it...
This used to be true, but ANet released a large condition update a few months ago that changed the way condition damage works in general. There is no longer a stack cap of 25 on damaging conditions, only on non-damaging ones like Vulnerability. Additionally, the condition damage formula was changed, and the way that conditions were applied to bosses and the condition damage and duration scaling were changed.
Condition damage went from something that was only useful in certain circumstances into something that is as universally applicable as direct damage. However, the majority of players still don’t understand the way this change has impacted the game.
