@greyfeather08 i don’t know who you are or how your opinion matters, but minority fans don’t need to be reminded of the representation that we have at the moment. We know exactly how far society has advanced and how blessed we are to have these characters that we care, and love, and identify so much with. We are constantly aware of how society and media are pitted against us, we don’t need a fucking reminder. We are /so/ fucking thankful and, again, we don’t need to be reminded. And the producers never said the show was going to be like the books? The general idea of the two are the same, but they are totally going off track from what the books actually are. So no, we won’t go to the damn author because she sold her rights away and has no control over what path the show takes. The showrunners, the producers, and the writers create and approve the content which we have today, which is hurting lgbt fans and fans of color. And the content of season two could be described as caricatures because they’re using racist and homophobic stereotypes (which some were admittedly in the first season but they were made exponentially worse). So don’t come on my post with that apologist bullshit because i’m not feelin it today (xxx)
