In this AU, Bill was able to survive the memory wipe on Stan’s mind as per invoking the Axolotl. He wanted a do over, so he just picked an au where everything is exactly the same, with the only difference being very small and unnoticable. (Sort of like playing the same game on a different device, using a different cartridge, if that makes any sense).
So while starting over his plans with Gravity Falls, he gets to be more successful. Such as being able to keep Dipper’s body and opening the rift earlier.
Nowadays, he just screws around with the universes he’s taken over. Except now he has a physical body to roam around in and be able to do things with his own two hands. His hobby seems to be screwing over the protagonists of those universes and creating Bad Ends(tm) now.
Hey you know those posts where people think Mabel is a bad person? She's selfish, a mean sister, caused Weirdmaggeddon... Yo what if those are the exact things she thinks of herself? Because that's angst material right there.
Oh yeah she blames herself big time, but in all honesty? I do, too. She was selfish. But she was also twelve and it sorta felt like the summer they spent in Falls changed her life, so I think it’s safe to argue that people in a chaotic and magical environment are accident-prone and sometimes make bad decisions. That’s what Mabel’s learning through her therapy, in my AU – it wasn’t her intention to cause Weirdmageddon and she can’t run away from her life.
Luckily I think the Good End Friends have lots of key problems in common – running away from their problems, blaming themselves for single-handedly causing the end of the world, having irresponsible people be their idols, doing bad things out of desperation to not be left behind...
Who I think would especially click with Mabel is Steven, to be honest. It’s why I’m planning on them becoming really good friends. And I’m pretty sure at some point they have a conversation where one of them is like “you can’t just blame yourself for everything, your family is partially at fault” and the other is like “no u” and that’s how they realize they can’t be held responsible for their relatives’ actions.
Do any of you guys know Steven yet and make him part of your band?

We decided against using him though, since he’s not really established in the community. As far as versions go though, we decided to use Chad!Steven from fragments as our Bad End character. Alright! So in the Silver!Antarc au, the moon gems are swapped out with their partners. What would be the new jobs of their partners? (Also considering the fact that some of the moon gems became so different from before the timeskip. Both Bort and Rutile would be interesting cases, due to their devotion to their jobs and the gems. It would be hard to imagine them becoming something different in a completely different society. Buuuut that’s also why I love this scenario so much.)

Rutile and Padpa WOULD be an interesting case and I’m not so sure how it would turn out, tbh. Canon Rutile went apeshitt bc they couldn’t hold their title of “doctor” anymore now that Padparadscha could be fixed....I wonder what would tip off Padpa. Maybe if Rutile was gone they could finally sleep forever.
