if love is represented through flowers, then what does that make grey? she was given form through clay, and while she does look like a flower - is she still as worthy as the rest to be on the same level as the other seven flowers?
my main idea when i went into designing grey was that she looks like a flower but she's not actually a real one (she initially was made from plastic but i changed it to clay). she loves and adores the rest of the flowers but she herself feels like she doesn't deserve to be in the same wavelength as them, much less from flowery too. she especially likes flowery because he was the most beautiful one out there. his shiny gold palette could not compare to her dull and messy colors. not only that, she also reciprocates the same feelings he has towards as.gore. she's only clay, yet as.gore went through the effort to care for her even when it wasnt necessary. she was only a gift from k.ris that was meant to expire one day.
clay is a stronger solid form unlike flowers - knowing that, she feels overly protective of everyone but also feels like she's being too overbearing ("i'm not a flower, why do i care so much?"). she focuses too much on her own "unoriginal" identity that it makes her step away from really being happy about herself
her fondness for flowery is also valuable to her, because if he does actually like her back - it means that he sees her the same way he sees the rest of the other flowers. but she can never bring herself to say that she likes him. because well. she's too insecure and unhappy to try saying so.
in flowery's eyes, she's actually a unique flower to him too which something she didn't realize or thought about. he loves that she was made out of love from kri.s. why would they make a flower of all things? it reminded them of their family and that's why they made a flower made of clay. and seeing that as.gore cares for her the same makes flow.ery even happier.
he also knows that she's too self conscious about herself, but he wants her to embrace herself more and more without too much of his influence in the way. she clings too hard on others to make herself feel happy. so he wants her to be the one to love herself first before he would. eee
oh and she can make things out of her own hands because she's clay after all :)
