I recently acquired a banette from the thrift shop (lots of abandoned dolls, I'm afraid) and it's been going great!
The one thing I am a bit concerned about is my mother's grevard. She doesn’t seem to understand that Button Stich is not a chew toy, and has tried to nip at her (Button Stitch) a few times. How can I stop this?

The best things to do in these situations is to distract, divert, or deter.
Whenever you see the Grevard start to get excited and go after Banette, grab a food she likes and offer it to her instead. Introducing rubber toys with food or pokenip inside also diverts attention as they’re much more interesting and more rewarding to chew on.
You can also apply to a non-toxic bitter spray to Button Stitch (probably as a last resort because I don’t think they’ll like that).

But Pokemon Violet is really fun (Eh!? 😂) Clodsire is my beloved child in this gen! We travel together since the first area, I named him Choco and we go to Pokemon League together!
