yeah here’s some stuff from the pits of scrap hell

I couldn't possibly go into each and every character that they had but my general statement is that, majority of the designs are super surface level readings of the ideas/ideologies they are meant to represent, without text it would be really hard to know who alot of these characters are meant to be.

Carsens (original artist, iirc use a different name now but they aren't active anywhere anymore) overall style and (lack of) anatomy doesn't really lend itself at all to interesting characters, the fluffy hair reaaally doesn't help either, sure there's colour and texture difference I guess but low-key all of these vaguely androgynous/ftm twinks kinda irritate me.

honestly the main cast are somewhat under detailed and are far too visually similar (communalism and darwinism being almost the same colour). compared to the extras which have a lot more variety in honestly everything, except well body type, but I digress.

it's kind of insane how well Greg himself could pull off so many characters in Centricide that I can view as pretty visually distinct enough to build stuff from, all while Literally being the same guy just in different outfits and colours.

oh and one last note, original artist being huge on dsmp lowkeyyy gave insane same face syndrome, and you might think "yeah these characters will all have the same face" but I can distinctly remember all of their art looking the same regardless of fandom, I mean unless it was giving Ancom rhinoplasty, brow shave, jaw splitting levels of alterations.... but that's my pet peeve and honestly so many ppl did that lol.
