Behold, a new crack ship pairing. Grekki is a byproduct of Diary of Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries fandom subreddits constantly dissing each other series back then. The creation of Grekki/Grikki initially started as a joke, and now it is a supposedly well-liked and unironic ship. You may see it sometimes randomly on either series subreddit. Technically, this ship is old because the traces of this pairing supposedly existed since 2015. However, around 2020, a notice of resurgence of Grekki's artworks on the internet arose.

Already! Welcome all Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Lovers to the first Grekki Fanweek. With all the rising popularity and resurgence of Greg and Nikki's artworks and memes across various fan sites, I think it is time for a proper fan week for these two.

Grekki Week officially started on June 18 (Greg's Birthday) and ends on June 28 (Nikki's Birthday)

Also, speaking about Grekki, I checked the shipping wiki for them, and it turns out there is a section for their future children as a meme of Haruhi Suzumiya as their daughter. For some reason, 4chan likes the idea of Haruhi being their daughter, because she is a personification of their personalities cranked to 11, preferably of their worst traits, lol.
