Greg Sand is a photographer who works with mixed media. He uses old polaroids and represents the people in them by replacing their silhouette with an article about the area they are situated in. This meaning that the person now associates with a place rather than their own being.Â
I was intrigued by Sand’s work as he uses the aspect of memories of people in an artistic way to create a memorial in which I can take into account when considering ways to tackle my own story based around my object and the memory of the previous owner.
