I can’t begin to express how much fun this commission was, or how thankful I am that Inkk commissioned me for this particular character! I’ve never shied away from characters with disabilities, prosthetics, scars, etc from roleplay, so I was very excited to tackle this beautiful monster. For me, I can’t turn away from those who are given a challenge mode to life - sometimes at birth, sometimes after a terrible accident or situation. It hits too close to home. We as a society often look at amputees, scars, injuries, disabilities, and defects with disgust or impatience. They’re ugly. They take up our time and slow us down in this fast-pace world.

So that’s why I must draw those with prosthetics, with scars, and portray them through roleplay and writing: They need love too. They’re still human, after all.
