2023/2024 aaron was SO FUCKING JUSTIFIED in his crash out. Ignored and fobbed off and spoken down to for SO MANY YEARS under the guise of 'love' and 'protection' and 'keeping him safe' (and im not entirely unconvinced they DIDNT think they were doing this. Their love IS controlling. The "dingle way". But how many times can one man who's already on fire inside be 'kept in line' before he burns up entirely?)

And it is NO COINCIDENCE that the people aaron loves the most (robert, mack, liv, even paddy back in the day) are the ones who have LET him be his vengeful, his furious, his BURNING self. Who love him exactly as he is.

14. what's a hobby you'd like to get into?

Sewing! It's a hobby i've already been into, but i haven't touched it in so long. i want to go baaack. and really, being more into the hobbies i already have. bullet journaling. painting. digital drawing. i've got two diy kits to make very different things, and i've got to sit down and get to them at some point. but i just. keep forgetting :(

The ghost of Robert of course. He's making toast and it's a little too burned but then he remembers that how Rob loved it. He's folding clothes and then he remembers the time Rob showed him how to Proprely Fold Clothes. All these little instances, that their lives were intertwined and there will always be reminders of what they had. It hurts a lot of course, but there is also fondness there. These ghosts are proof that it happened, it was real, there was love and it mattered.

And then all the others ghosts. All the people he lost over the years. Liv of course. Always Liv. But also Faith. Adam. Seb. How do you deal with so much loss and keep living

And finally, the ghost of what could have been. The ghost of a life not lived, bc it was cut short before it happened. Kids they didnt have, parties they didnt attend, moments they didnt share. Trust broken. How do you heal from a constant open bleeding wound. How do you mourn sth that didnt happen.

Keeping those words locked in the aaron folder in my brain forever.

He really just KEPT ON didn't he? Through it all? He kept trucking onwards, dragged down by grief and agony and loss. Bleeding all over the carpet from a life ripping away at him time and time again. And isn't it so funny how people truly can get used to anything? How, when you sit with something for long enough, anything at all can become your new normal? How people got USED to seeing aaron dragging himself around (a ghost in the corpse of his own existence). How they got USED to seeing the drawn and haunted look in his eyes. The mournful downturn of his mouth. (the mess of blood trailing behind him).

Isn't it funny how they could still look at him and smile politely while he handed over the change for his pint of milk, and watch him traipse out of the door and see the desolate cloud of agony and anguish and grief clinging to him. And then get on with their day? People really can get used to anything.

And it IS love! In SO MANY WAYS! And it's the sweet, untarnished kind that still allows for heavy things to be put down and complicated things to be made simple.

And its SOOO IMPORTANT to me PERSONALLY that aaron (and mack too, actually) has that! A person that they can spill the awful, clotted dregs straight from all the ragged places inside themselves to, without pain, or fear, or judgement. And then sit back and ignore them (for a while). Look in the other direction with. And it doesn't FIX things (god, who knows if the tangled knots these men have weaved inside themselves could ever be truly unspooled). But my GOD it must be a relief not to carry it for a while.

Omg girl it was a VERYYYY depressing and convoluted story that basically ended in liv only being out IN the storm that killed her because chas refused to end this affair and aaron wasn't able to be fully honest with liv when she died about why he'd left (because of his mother). And then she forced him out of the village after!!! It's been a minute since I've watched it and honestly don't think I will any time soon bc it makes me so mad lol 🚬

There was just SO MUCH resentment which imo was only solidified FURTHER when he returned and the dingle family basically cast him out and labelled him 'feral' for HAVING A VERY VALUD CRASHOUT ABOUT ALL THE TRAUMA HE'D BEEN THROUGH! (and I mean love & light but CAIN calling ANYONE feral??? LMFAOOO 💀💀💀💀)

I hope she knows that in the grand scheme of soap operas, she died for one of the only long standing and 100% endgame couple. Idk much about soap operas but couples are supposed to cheat and split and rarely get back together. Except Robron, they're the real deal. They invented love etc etc.

AT LEAST it wasn't for some shitty affair that ended 6 months later and was never spoken of again LMFAOOO
