April 5, 2026 - Kikuyu Mountain Greenbul or Olive-breasted Greenbul (Arizelocichla kikuyuensis) Found in parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Kenya, these greenbuls live in mountain forests and shrublands. Foraging alone, in pairs, and in family groups and often joining mixed-species flocks, they eat fruit, flowers, leaves, and arthropods, picking prey from surfaces and capturing it in short flights. They are thought to build neat cup-shaped nests from moss, tendrils, fine roots, and grass stalks. Females incubate the clutches of one to three eggs alone.
