CHARACTER BUILDING QUESTIONS // ACCEPTING !
41. What phrases, pronunciations, or mannerisms did they pick up from someone / somewhere else?
Oh I know for a fact he probably picked up a ton from Ena. If I'm remembering correctly, I think Mizuki even mentions that both siblings, if passionate about something, wouldn't dare to be half-hearted in their pursuit of it!
I honestly wouldn't be all too surprised if a lot of Ena's passion about art rubbed off on Akito via his passion for music too - especially since she was the one to introduce him to music. But I also think through her passion and through their dad, that's also where he grew his dislike for pursuing art himself despite being noted to be incredibly talented in the artistic field.
Also as cool as he tries to act, he gets kind of like a little lost dog around people he respects (read: ken and meiko) so I would probably argue he's tried to emulate some of Ken's mannerisms in certain ways too!
But mostly I think a lot of how he acts / behaves is built up from his surroundings. A neglectful dad who's always putting down Ena's desire to chase her passions combined with his own choice to abandon things he's naturally talented in for a field where he has to work harder than everyone else, and where he's being put down for it by other musicians on the scene.
A combination of all of this made him develop a "nice guy" act for meeting strangers because I'm not really sure he knows how to approach people and get a positive response otherwise.
45. Whatâs something unimportant / frivolous that they hate passionately?
Carrots. It's so funny to me how much he hates carrots.
48. Who would they say âyesâ to if invited to do something they abhorred / strongly didnât want to do?
He'd probably say "yes" exclusively to Ena and the other members of VBS. And Ken. But if its Ena or An asking him, he's gonna be a little brat about it and complain the whole time. But he'll still go.
