More work for Graylion@WA for his blended ttrpg worldsetting!
Stained glass interpretation of Clan Nosferatu from V:tR; the original was basically just a Greek tragedy mask, and we wanted something that was a little more intimidating and had a bit more of a ‘beast behind the mask’ feeling. Probably the hardest of the set, but settled on this in the end after plenty of good art direction from Gray.
More work for Graylion@WA for his blended ttrpg worldsetting! One of the more traditional Covenants this time: the Ordo Drakul, or Order of the Dragon. Original emblem was pretty elaborate, and didn’t really fit the stylistic look that we’d established so far on the project, so Gray found a more stylized dragon that he liked the look of and we worked from there. Changed the pose to flow a bit better and give it the shape language of the way I do stained glass for consistency, and then messed with the palette and overall look to try and properly represent the Covenant’s theme. Transcending a basic nature rooted in blood... or maybe never quite escaping it, but redefining it to mean something more.

Two versions of a stained glass rework of the symbol of Clan Mekhet from V:tR. Gray liked the eternity-snake imagery, but wanted to play up the imagery suggesting secrets and finesse that’s associated with Mekhet vampires.
More work for Graylion@WA, for his blended ttrpg worldsetting! Closing in on the end of the series, this one was for the Circle of Dust covenant (a reworked Circle of the Crone). Our initial direction had been more focused on knotwork, and I ended up learning a fair bit about the different traditional categories for Celtic knots in order to pick one that had the correct symbolism and indications. In the end we ended up moving away from that towards the chaos and sharp shapes of the original Circle design, while refocusing it towards imagery that tied into the ‘dust’ theme. One last window to go!

More work for Graylion@WA of his blended ttrpg worldsetting! Okay so I don’t think they’re technically an official covenant, at least not in the source material, but same sort of energy. We were doing Templars this time, focusing on swords, the Book of Night, and a general sort of religious vibe. Unfortunately VtM/VtR doesn’t seem to have any sort of canonical script for vampires, so I took a look at the style of runes used in Mage and tried to do something with a similar but slightly sharper and more angular feel.
More work for Graylion@WA for his blended ttrpg worldsetting! Another Covenant (I think homebrew this time, though I’m admittedly not familiar enough with the source material to be certain); the Veiled are manipulators waiting in the shadows, watching and waiting and reaching out to nudge things in whatever direction suits their unknown purposes. Gray wanted something to represent that deadly, predatory patience, and here we are! There’s technically a secondary read of an hourglass, which was played up a bit more in one of my earlier drafts, but Gray felt the final color scheme fit a bit better with the lineup. Still included here, I’m quite fond of it anyways!
