I am a fan of "traditional binary gender rolls" especially when it comes to dating. (I know, shocking!) But when straight people ask "Who is the boy and who's the girl in the relationship?" Without hesitation (or irony) I say in my most fem gay voice:"I'm the girl! And don’t you forget it!" Instead of stuttering over the social politics for two hours It just makes everything so much easier - makes my thick thighs and bearded face feel like a Pretty Woman (big mistake!) - And it is the closest thing to a simple truth. So as a lady, I always wait to be approached (or asked out by the Top). I bat my eyes and laugh at their jokes, "But a lady never makes the first move". But after 40 years in the game I have come to realize that when it comes to gay men, Tops are actually way less confident, dominant, or assertive than the Bottoms they hope to breed. Bottoms rule the world! This is why all the grand gestures and civil rights activism (and all the best fashion choices) are done by the fem Queen bottoms . Tops are really only good at topping. (And you’re lucky if they are even good at that. Lol) So waiting for them to make the first move will often leave you waiting forever. (Or maybe I’m just ugly 🤷🏽‍♂️. But for 2022 I'm going to try asking guys out. Get ready to be stalked. pushy bottom powers activate!
