Did you hear? The #CentralMass9 Video Editing contest finalists have been selected and are launching for public voting very soon, and the #CentralMass10 event page is live at bit.ly/centralmass10. Hard to believe we’re approaching the decade mark, and will be celebrating in grand fashion at this 10th and final iteration much like @junker_eric after his long-sought race win. Pardon the radio silence - @emgeeevents has been buried running #GravityFest and #KillingtonWC @idfracing events, which plan to continue well into the future after #SkateCentralMa has wound down. The biggest treat of #GravityFest and #KillingtonWC was getting to take a bunch of runs. I’m very grateful that @_stevekong captured this moment. In addition to a few thousand pounds (literally) of @emgeeevents equipment, I remembered all my skate gear for Madison County... except my skate shoes. So here I am bombing past the boys in some ultralight (ultra not durable) running shoes. Fortunately @bonuslife brought my skate shoes up for #KillingtonWC, and I had zero crashes at either event... at least until @austin.pedroni blasted me from behind in Tetanus corner after refusing to pass me 🤣 😵💀 love you Austin, thanks for announcing, helping with cleanup and driving the box truck back to Manchester. Unintended consequence of event organizing: unkempt facial hair. Shaving’s low on the list when your #GravityFest hay crew is short handed, the event tent turns out to be 40’x80’ instead of 20’x40’ and needs to be set up in the dark for the first time after qualis, big shuttle truck blew its radiator and some drunken idiot is trying to break into the legion at 3am. Great times despite it all! Fortunately I have some incredible event staff members stay strong through thick and thin, early and late, year after year, at all @emgeeevents. Looking at you, @underdogartisan, @t3works & @yaboyb.rad3 - I salute you (with extra scruff). See you soon, razor. Up next: #KillingtonWC. Sometimes it really do be like that. Rolled with the punches at #gravityfest and still got lots of runs and smiles per mile at this awesome track. I’m definitely planning to continue GF into 2019 and beyond. (Also redoubled my resolution to never give uhaul another dollar if possible... unfortunately my hand was forced this time around).
