I wish he had kept the dynamics of the start of act 6 + Dirkjake. at least it seemed like Roxy&Jane’s relationship drama was set up more than Dirkjake’s, but nothing came out of it or Jane’s crockercorp involvement, beyond a flatly evil Obey!Jane. stuff like mindcopy!Dirk explaining the post-scratch future to Jake, instead of Roxy finally explaining it to Jane makes it pretty clear imo that Hussie had no motivation to follow through though

first Dirk eclipses her, then Roxy becomes the celebrated friendleader x(

Clearly an abuse of some sort of public office, yes. I feel like leadership, at least at the top, would always have been caste-based, but there might have been democratically-elected positions at local levels. Or "Senator" doesn't refer to a democratic position at all.
