⚽️ THE PIGEON INCIDENT: GOALPOST GRASS TRAGEDY UNFOLDS AT SUNSET
Noodleburg Youth Sports Update — Things got mildly out of hand at the South Field this evening when 12-year-old Linus “Slippery Socks” Wexler performed an unintentional interpretive dive straight into the turf, mid-celebration.
While teammate Margo cheered with an apple juice in hand, Linus emerged from the grassy wreckage holding what appeared to be a fistful of lawn, as though he had just discovered agriculture.
But the real twist? A local pigeon, known among students as “Gary Twofeathers,” seized this moment of confusion to swoop down and hijack Linus’s post-game sandwich. The pigeon is reportedly still at large, presumed fed.
The score of the match is unclear. No one is even sure if it was a match. But it was definitely a moment.
