Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 1/4 cup milk. 1 large egg. 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped. 1/4 cup rolled oats. 2 tbsp honey. Vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions: The all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Mix the Greek yogurt, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract thoroughly in a different bowl. Mixing until a dough forms, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. After folding in the chopped strawberries, set aside the dough. Toast the rolled oats in a small pan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden brown. After adding the honey, cook the toasted oats for an additional minute, or until they are sticky and coated. Take off the heat. In a heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius.
