Open Starter: Tea Time!
It had been a long day. The morning was spent on an operation that Jack and Ana had been planning for months now. A daring raid on a Talon safe house somewhere in Mexico. It had been a tough one. From almost the moment Overwatch landed on the roof the fighting had been fierce. Hundreds of biotic rounds and grenades later things came to a close, and everyone chosen for the mission walked out alive. Things seldom go this well in any fight. Victory tastes so sweet. Almost as much as the sugar infused chamomile tea she’s sipping on. After a long day there isn’t anything better than sitting out on one of the Watchpoint’s viewing platforms and watching the almost hidden sun set over the water. The rays reflecting off the sea below are almost as warm as the feeling in her guts. It’s the type of sensation she’d keep in a jar if she could, and open it up whenever things look bleak. The teapot on a small, fold up table placed just next to her is hefted up so she can refill the cup she’s been sipping from. From somewhere off behind her she hears the clicking of footsteps. She doesn’t focus enough to try and take a guess at who it is. Instead, she plants the pot down between a spare cup and several plated sweets. Then, she lazily waves to another lawn chair on the opposite side of the table next to her. “Take a seat, won’t you? I was hoping someone would come to keep me company.”
