I promise no shade to Nark again I'd just love to see variety of fics on Ao3 when I wake up. Maybe Kiddad interactions with the teens like Terry teaching Taylor how to control magic maybe out of guilt or something. We get a sprinkle here and there but it's mostly Nark. I think part of the reason I like Grannick is because Grant and Nick (at least in the Glenn Close timeline) had very different childhoods but they still came out of it with a very similar inability to confide in their fathers or rely on them for emotional support.
They also each had their entire identities irrevocably and violently altered as a result of their father's mistakes. I think they would confide in each other over this and this would begin their codependent homoerotic friendship that eventually becomes a relationship
