kennedy has always lived in oasis springs, and despite the heat, he enjoys wearing sweaters at all times. when bennett moved to the local university for a basketball scholarship, most people couldn’t help but like him---and that didn’t exclude kennedy. the sweater-loving boy became a distant admirer of their school’s star, always at every game, always defending bennett when someone would whisper a homophobic slur under their breath. kennedy never once talked to his crush, too shy and intimidated by his social status. but one day, they bumped shoulders on accident and bennett apologized so profusely that kennedy didn’t get a word in edgewise before the basketball player rushed off to practice, obviously late.

this man has been all over the world, moving here and there and everywhere, but shiloh has to admit---brindleton bay has grown on him. after coming to the conclusion he would like to settle down here, he suddenly became distraught. who would he settle down with? sure, he’s had some flings and one-night stands, but relationships have all but avoided him. shiloh is one of those type of people that waits for “the one” and doesn’t like wasting time on potentials. he knew that with time, a person would trigger some bells in his head and he’d be forever smitten.

after seeing bennett’s ad in the paper, those bells finally went off.

shiloh took this as a sign and decided to partake in the battle for this silver-haired boy’s attraction. he wanted to finally love something more than fishing and his madre.
