If you could only comprehend how much I love you, Dohle. You'd think I'm such a weirdo.

–I take photos of birds, like yourself. All the time I want to get out and take lots of them. Beautiful shots that I'd like the world to see! But they just keep piling up, and I can't keep up. Every day I have to find time to choose, edit, upload, add info... It's become an unsought task. It's too much! As the waiting list keeps growing and growing, so does my desire not to give up. I don't see an end to this, or a way out. –"Dawg, you what?"

Aren't they worth fighting a hundred buzzards for?

So the whole picture was that this buzzard, who had already committed murder, plucked up the courage to cross the jackdaw colony, and that obviously triggered all the jackdaws. Here you can see the first one. A few seconds later there were like 8 all over it, and it's kind of funny because there was no threat whatsoever, but they were letting the buzzard know what to expect anyway.

I don't know how much they could hypothetically hurt the buzzard, but I for sure know that if I had a bunch of jackdaws screaming 'kyaw' at me with their cute little voices, I'd die instantly.

I camouflaged behind a trash can to take this one. 🚮🥴

I was thinking that's a very small crow baby when I saw this little clueless guy, and it wasn't after a while, when the adorable fella said "kyaw!", that it hit me.

It was a baby Dohle! I was overwhelmed, I wanted to cry. When it was finally on the move, I was acting as its bodyguard, and smiling at it until it clumsily walked into safety.

I won't rule out some passer-by might have said: Find someone who looks at you like that weirdo looks at that bird.
