Since graduation is approaching soon, I have two questions in mind for you all: 1. What are the ways you do to re-center yourself with your purpose or meaning in life? 2. How is your future work/ profession is going to influence your life?

Sometimes as a busy college student myself, I often find myself chasing on one goal after the other. It also seemed like some days I am just going through the motions instead of really finding who I am. I do not know how you feel about cemeteries, but I found it was one of the places to self-reflect and re-center my purpose in life. When I looked at the tombstones and the year of birth/death for my paper in this class, it reminded me of how short is my life and my morality could just creep in without me knowing. In addition, it helped me to be grateful for my life and I could never take anything away. Speaking of morality, this reminded me of when I went to the Romania Virgin Mary monastery last May, we went and looked through the nun’s gravesites. The interesting part was living nuns attended their own gravesites with flowers and plants to remind themselves about the morality of their lives. Moreover, every tombstone in the monastery is the same because wealth should not be the separation for all. It was a cool concept and a sad reality for me to see how wealth distribution effected how big or small and elegant or simple the tombstone was. On earth, the day you died, money is still a big thing.

cara untuk mendapat gelar sarjana berbeda-beda, waktunya berbeda-beda. dan setiap orang punya cara dan waktunya masing-masing.

akhirnya kemarin ngerasain ketemu sidang yang kata orang komprehensif. sidang, 45 menit yang gak terlupakan.

berhadapan dengan 10 dosen dari tiap kelompok keilmuan yang siap menguji pengetahuan tentang farmasi yang udah didapet selama kuliah. takut? degdegan? risau? pasti. karena saat masuk ruangan, tak ada yang bisa membela dan dijadikan pegangan, selain Allah SWT.
