*NEW POST* Both halves of Rachel’s STEM #gradschoolapplications guide up on the blog! It’s wild to look back to when Rachel and I graduated from undergrad and think about how much we’ve done since. I know at that point I was planning on taking a school year off because I didn’t really have a plan for what came next. Applying for masters and PhD programs was so intimidating and I didn’t really know what to expect or what was expected of me in that process. Reflecting on what happens after graduation😳 I am now halfway through my last semester of undergrad! It's hard to believe I have made it this far and it won't be long until I walk across that stage. I am having a hard time writing these personal statements for PhD programs. How do you sell yourself in 1-2 pages. #gradschoolapplications #problems

Watching Snow White (my least favorite classic disney movie) and feeling super weird. So here goes my random - stressed out - sleep deprived - hungry-but-I-just-ate - confused - burnt out thoughts in Disney form: Someday my prince will come (and by prince I mean a grad school acceptance letter. Or phone call. Even an email *I'm not picky*) Bibbity boppity boo - all my grad school applications are done (that would be real magic. Where's my effing fairy godmother). There's something there that wasn't there before (when I find an error in an application I already submitted). Never underestimate the power of body language (when I start pre-stressing about interviews in February) Hakuna fucking matata (after I push the "submit" button)
