until I do that though, the design would probably look like one of these:

basically leaning more into the aesthetic of her heritage in this universe, as she'd probably make a wish regarding the Kagura ritual. If it's a happy universe for all the Quintet, then I think she'd probably still have her family and running a shrine outside Mitakihara.

"You probably should have looked for a safer way down, y'know." Heather offered her companion a half smile, small but present enough to show she wasn't terribly upset with her antics.

At the next question, the smile didn't fade. Heather just dusted herself off, nose wrinkling a bit at the blood on her puffer vest's collar. When had that gotten there?

"Dirty and scratched up, but fine. Just swell," With a roll of her eyes, the teen began to step a pace ahead of Grace, pointing her body towards the darkness so her flashlight could properly provide some path into the darkness.

"Just where the hell are we now?" She asked, almost under her breath.

I feel like I have talked about this before, but I'm too lazy to try and find the post if I did. But I think if I did, this'll either cover the same material or update those thoughts. I'm a sucker for Madoka AUs. It's so fun making up the bits of customization for characters, since so much of the worldbuilding for Madoka is based on symbolism and inner emotions.

Okay so for Heather. I think this one is one of the easier ones to base off, since Heather has a magical-girl-sona in the game you can unlock after your first playthrough. Her attire in that is alien themed, and she goes by Princess Heart.

In my AU, however, she would probably wear something more similar to her outfit in canon, but maybe doctored up a bit. Maybe something like Akira from the Magia Record story? She's very casual and punk in her attire, grungy.

She wished to stop her father from having nightmares, which backfired and instead opened up her mind to the nightmares her past self Alessa dealt with 21 years ago. She's able to manipulate nightmares and scary things with her magic, which helps her when fighting witches.

I think her main weapon would be a stun gun of sorts, which could freeze monsters temporarily until she can seal them or immolate them in her flames.

Her witch would closely resemble "God," appearing like a woman asleep with a deformed baby in her arms. If intruders wake the baby, the mother will burn the intruders to death. I think the best name for this witch would be MARIA - Witch of Hellfire. As a Doppel, she'd make Heather look bloody and covered in soot, turning her into a closer version of Alessa.

As for Hinako, she's a little more difficult. It depends on when she would have made her contract— if it was made when she was younger, or if it was made during the events of the game as a way to survive.

Going with the latter, I think Hinako would have wished to determine what happiness meant to her. As a vague wish, it gives her the power of quick decision making, but her anxiety over these choices feeds into the dark despair filling her town.

Her magical girl attire would resemble something like this. She'd carry a naginata, proficient at close up combat. Her Doppel would manifest as a bird with small, deformed wings and a fox's tails. In this form, she'd wear the fox mask Kotoyuki gifted her.

Her witch is pretty much just the Shiromuku. Faceless, half fox, trailing spider lilies wherever she steps.

She is a child crying out, a heart beating so harshly to a point that it nearly leaps from its cage into his sensitive ears, and he, simply an onlooker to flushed paled cheeks and tear stained eyes that set to swelling eyelids from their efforts to nearly close sky blues shut - Still afraid of the dark or rather what had lurked in its shade. He stays relatively quiet, simply having observed the hysterics at its climax as he had ferried their little troupe from the bowels of the sanatoriums tunnels and into what remains of the RPDs interior. A quick sweep sets right to tension building within the depths of decaying bulwark almost too silent to be called safe, but more than 10 times a relief than putrid sterility enclosed behind whatever comfort Gideon's own property held. A grievance that he had allowed that reptile's continued existence to plague and play doctor for yet what felt like a millenia since Umbrella's fall. The last of the the old guard reduced to fanatics upon ashes, vying for a remaining determination somewhere keyed to her existence.

Little lost lamb the thought had passed having tracked her movements since the beginning of Alyssa's death, although half hearted and more than not to keep tabs rather than harm. It was clear from the start that she would be no more useful to a question that had so puzzled the release of Elpis as if Spencer's last will and testament had been only to vex anyone who cared for it. She, like them, just as if not more so, on the brink of collapse as scrutiny determines the heaviness of shoulders waning their structure to gravitys gentle pull downward. At length he steadies her with a broad hand to the lower back in support of wobbling legs as he allows her choice in the pace in which they travel the threshold. Be it more so urgency laced pressure applied like a spur to direct rather than demand. Arguments in hushed whispers from his sordid allies prick at his ears as he is waved on, left with her care as discussion are made in preparation for their persuer.

In hollowed halls the howling winds presence sweeps deris decades old in their path as she is led to an adjacent office space crusted with grime and fallout from echos of an explosion long ago. One hard rotted chair is wrenched from their path so she is given a wider berth before being indicted to sit on a desk parallel to this with one gloved finger tapping the table top. She is wide eyed, blue saucers still in the throws of some terror gripped experience that render her seemingly immobile, to which, he lifts her by the hips setting them to rest where he had indicated.

With his mouth full of pastry and fingers covered in frosting, Leon looked down when his phone vibrated. Hm, that was fast. He tried wiping his hands clean with a napkin but it did little to rid him of the stickiness. Apparently he and Grace had the same idea with taking time off.

a  gentle  watcher.  infinitely  aware  of  her  presence  as  they  rush  through  this  labyrinth,  a  decommissioned  pharmaceutical  research  facility  that  still  breathes.  the  story  told  to  the  public  isn't  the  real  one.  there's  a  crew  here,  tinkering  in  the  shadows  with  sinister  motivations.  peter  slows  once  they  reach  the  aged  area  of  the  building.  there  are  halls  with  broken  windows,  desks  choked  with  dust,  and  it's  no  surprise  these  guys  have  gone  undetected  for  so  long:  it  feels  abandoned.
