—BIOGRAPHY

Cho Jihun’s father happened to be one of the sponsors to the Mokwon University charity club, which with the help of his father (Cho Siwon) that club extended to become a larger organization less ran by the students and more by the eligible staff. Of course sense the school was considerate to realize Cho Siwon had a son, they sent a dear welcome to Jihun without him even applying. Therefore, making it easier for the lazy-butt to go there with no worries that his application would or wouldn’t make it. He simply bought his way in, caring less of how others might see it. He didn’t want to do business or take on his dad’s therefore University was his distraction from the corrupt family he hates to admit that he has. Of course seeing as how papa Siwon paid the charity which then forced the University to put the only kid of the sponsor in school with no payment asked, he was labeled before he even stepped on the campus ground as 'another rich asshole’. Rich defined him for sure, he didn’t attend Mokwon High because the kid was all the way in the U.K. at one of the richest Catholic schools a rich human can afford to send their kids to. Celebrities and royalty of Britian had their kids there and there was one Asian kid that everyone found absolutely obnoxious, and that happened to be the one and only 'always right’ Cho Jihun.

It is said Jihun is always 'mr.right’ because he likes to be proving anyone wrong. For anything! If the street said right and you argued left, he’ll make you hate the day you said such a thing because he goes by facts and proves it all the correct way in the expense of losing friends. Never was a fan of making friends, so he never hated running solo. His one fear and in which no man has ever known about him is his constant running away from his father and the responsibility he tries to throw at him. Jihun and his father (Siwon) have a pretty bad, always ending in slammed doors sort of relationship. Being the son of his second wife, he never was loved like the daughters of the first wife. Now that he is the only son he is given fake-sort-of-love for the sake of taking over the dad’s company. He isn’t proud of knowing his mere existence depends on inheritance. He knows if his mother conceived another daughter she’d be thrown in the streets but as long as Jihun stays alive, his father keeps her spoiled to not have her ask for a divorce. No matter how much Jihun tells her to let go and ask for one she says 'he hadn’t done us wrong, why should we run away from the richness and luxury he brings?’ and not that Jihun hates being the way he is, but not exactly is he happy for having all these great and luxurious stuff at the expense of conditions. Like taking business instead of chemistry, like throwing his love for basketball for the sake of 'going to the company to learn from his dad' as if that heartless man can teach me anything.

—PERSONALITY

Cho Jihun’s personality is tolerable if the person at the receiving end is okay with being corrected, or rather informed with material facts. Fairly blunt and has zero of a filter. Cannot accept the pity of others and will not show his soft spots or weak points. Does however share advise for those in need,– it isn’t necessarily kind advise. If he believes of what you have done is idiotic, he’ll set you straight. His best habit happens to be his constant care of what he loves. The classes he choses and the sport he adores, he gives it his %110. Worst habits? Cannot hold his tongue. Will break the ice with making the situation awkward. Cares less of others and cares more of himself. 'I’ is in team for him, wether anyone sees it or not.

—BIOGRAPHY

Katerina comes from a wealthy family from Japanese ascendance in the vast land of Russia. She is the oldest daughter of a primaballerina and a CEO from a multinational company that were radicated in the cold old country. She always studied in the best schools in town and, in the world and her liking for dancing started since she was almost a baby, since she saw her mom dancing in several international stages and taking all the attention from the audience being that her first dream, to be like her mother. 

As a privileged child, her father paid all her, and her sister dancing studies in the best places known in the city and the world, even taking overseas workshops in places like New York, Paris, London, Tokyo and Seoul, making them a name among promising dancers around the globe and, expanding their views of the world. It was because of these travels that Katerina could learn many languages and get acquainted with famous choreographers and dancers from the whole world, thanks to her bright personality and abilities in dancing. During her early teenage years, she learned more about ballet and contemporary dancing, being the first dancer of every Academy she attended in Moscow, where she resided at that time, and also, street dancing which became one of her passions, passion that she shared with her younger sister Katya. Since she was 15, she started a double life, one that in part was hidden from her strict father, when she became part of a street dance crew with whom she competed at international level in the underground world of the European dance stage, taking up almost immediately the role of the choreographer inside the group. Even when her sister was alongside with her in the dance crew, Katerina kept a part of her life there as a secret, she was too involved in the world behind the dance crews, a world that Katya shouldn’t or wouldn’t know at all.

The underground world was a tough one. The fights among the different members of these crews, many of them led by gangs, made her see another side of the world, one more dangerous and, at a certain level, appealing to her. It was during those years, that she became like a rebel to the eyes of her parents and they couldn’t control her like when she was the sweet Katerina who obeyed everything her parents said, she had like a yakuza behavior, probably influenced by the fact she wanted to know more about her roots, her Japanese ascendance with the beauty of a Russian swan. 

But, at 17, she tried to get rid of that dangerous life and gain some control of her life after experiencing a traumatic incident in which someone dear to her was involved, someone that was part of her life. She wanted to get out, not only for her, but because she didn’t want her sister to follow the same footsteps as her and suffer like she did so, even when she had the option to enroll to any university of her liking, she enrolled Mokwon University as Dancing major. She needed a fresh start in a new country and, because Korea was always appealing to her when it came to music and dancing, she chose it, taking the responsibility before her parents to take care of Katya too. It was her time to shine, and she had her sister by her side to conquer the world, or at least that was what she wanted.

—PERSONALITY

Fun, joyful and optimistic, those would be the words to describe her at first sight. She is a social girl who likes to meet people and new places due to the fact that she spent most of her life traveling around following her mother’s footsteps or attending to any dancing workshop available. Always open to everything, with a smile on her lips whenever she goes, even if that everything involves unnecesary risks because she had always love the dangerous side of life, which brought her many problems in her past. She likes living her life to the fullest, with no regrets, which sometimes make her fall hard but, as her motto says “The fall is only the way to learn to stand up”.

She is crazy and maybe impulsive when it comes to make a decision, which brings her more than one trouble at the end. She doesn’t take things too seriously on daily basis but, only those close to her know that is just a mask to hide some of her hidden side, the one not many people know when insecurities come to her, especially with things related to her body and self-esteem after some episodes of her childhood that no one but her know about, and also, because of the experiences she got when she was part of a dance crew. She doesn’t like talking too much about her feelings or her past, at least, openly unless is with someone she can fully trust but, to be one of those persons, it’s something really hard to accomplish.

subin was brought into this world after two years of marriage in between her parents. from the second she was born she was cherished with every last cell in their bodies. there were never any expectations or predetermined fantasies for their daughter. she was allowed to blossom into her own person and they did their best to feed her wishes. in their first few years their careers kept them bouncing from place to place, which kept subin from developing any long-lasting friendships. she was a sweet girl who had a knack for making friends. but it didn’t matter all that much, she’d be gone in a month or so.

all of her childhood was spent excelling in whatever she put her mind to. it was if her parents genes came together to create a super human. subin took home trophies in almost every aspect of her life, consider her an overachiever. she was always top of her class, the fastest, the best speaker. subin was, annoyingly enough, a teacher’s pet. it wasn’t something she could help. and no matter what school she went to, she was inevitably dubbed with the title. however, she used it to her advantage. she knew that staying on her teacher’s good side would take her places. even if the other kids hated her for it.

subin wanted to be a part of every opportunity she could sink her teeth into. her enthusiasm took her all over the world. her bedroom lined top to bottom with trophies that spoke to how determined she really was. subin was a part of the us national team, the world champions three years in a row. she was a decorated tennis player, a holy soccer star. she was a hidden gem, widely sought out by multiple teams through out the us. but once her parents’ expansion into america was done… so was her time there.

they moved back to south korea, her first home. and subin made sure to reconnect with as many childhood friends as possible. although that much was easy, she only had a few. it was weird but it was something she had to get used to. slowly but surely, subin settled right in. she joined clubs, tried to put herself out there as much as she possibly could. she even got a boyfriend. all of her worries dissipated and she was the happiest she’d ever been. subin could shine brightly, even in a country where every other student was as smart (if not smarter) as she was.

then she fell sick. it only took about a week for her symptoms to convince her mother to fly her somewhere she could recover in peace. london, england was the destination this time. her mother had to do a few things for the family business there anyways. the classic two birds, one stone. ten months later they were back on a plane to seoul. although this trip they were joined by a third party, subin’s brand new little ‘brother’. he breathed new life into the lim family. they felt a little complete. and now with subin’s health back at a hundred. she could focus on kicking mokwon’s ass in the rankings. how could she settle with being lower than the top 10?

Jung Eunmi was born to a single mother in Seattle, Washington. Thousands of miles away from where her mother was born and raised. Jung Eunseo became pregnant with her first child at a young age but it wasn’t until Eunmi came along that she decided to move to America with a few of her friends hoping to elude some of the ‘teenage mother’ shame. Friends and family would gossip about the fact that she was only twenty-one with two children and no husband, on top of that they didn’t know who the father was - and that was a hot topic around town. Eunseo settled in Seattle where she shortly found work at a laundromat, she hardly spoke any English but was able to survive regardless. It wasn’t until Eunmi and Eunjae started school that she started attending the local Adult Learning Center, taking English classes while the kids were at school.

Eunseo had come to notice that Eunmi had a penchant for being a troublemaker. She’d do little things like talk back to the teacher or fight other kids on the playground. She had a ‘very strong’ personality as she would say but other people had very choice words for Eunmi’s behavior. They would call her a brat or a little parasite, but Eunmi never gave her mother trouble at home. She followed all of the house rules and didn’t even think to disobey her mom. Which made everyone wonder exactly why she was acting out in the first place. It was a reason that was even unbeknownst to herself, Eunmi just like causing chaos. It was like an adrenaline rush, a high that never wore off. She got suspended every other week which would make any mother jealous, but the time she had off was used to lighten her mothers workload. While Eunseo was at work and Eunjae was at school Eunmi would cook and clean, and make sure everything was perfect for when her mother got out. It didn’t make her behavior excusable but it made it tolerable.

They didn’t live in extreme poverty but they weren’t living the high life either. A lot of Eunmi’s life consisted of moving around while her mother chased a paper trail, trying to find a better paying job - until she gave up and decided to move her family back to Korea. It was the biggest culture shock Eunmi and Eunjae had ever suffered, having grown up with American customs. But slowly but surely they settled in, even though they stuck out like sore thumbs 90% of the time. Their day to day life was a little easier, Eunseo had the help of her parents when it came to not only raising her children but financial issues as well. And things only get better when she accidentally met Mr. Right. He was handsome and rich and completely heartbroken. Eunseo was more interested in the monetary value but eventually did fall heads over heels for Sun Zhihuan and they married shortly after six months together.

Eunseo, Eunjae, and Eunmi all moved in with him and his sun Enlai into the biggest house they had ever seen in their lives. Eunjae immediately hit it off with Enlai, but Eunmi had a little more trouble getting used to him. He rubbed her the wrong way, although her brother would tell her that it was just his quiet nature - but she didn’t take kindly to it either way. Eunmi was a brazen girl, she said whatever she wanted to say whenever she felt like it and didn’t have much of a filter, something her and Enlai had in common. Eventually she learned to ignore him with time and practice. During her first year she was scouted while at the mall with her mother. A career as an idol wasn’t something she ever imagined but she went along with it for the sake of doing it. Surprisingly she grew to like the grueling work and long hours, the endless practices and all the friends she made while at the company. However, she still had a streak for trouble which got her kicked out of her company and the contract void. She didn’t have time to sulk or be sad over it because she was picked up by another company soon after, one that was looking to form a new group - thus L:OVELESS was created.
