You know that dude Hoji from episode 7? Kirishima-Jojo fusion?

Ash and Go are in Hoenn for some reason and run into him. Hoji is like "yo Ash my main man whats poppin" meanwhile he sees Go and is like "Oh yeah its that cute kid from before." Go is, understandably, not happy with this.

Anyway they're all chillin for a bit and Hoji notices that Go gets all blushy around Ash and hes like "oHOHO??" and gives the poor boy shit for it.

Fear not, Hoji doesn't try to get in the way! Instead he becomes a cardiac-arrest inducing wingman.

I haven't really thought of any examples but heres o n e: They invite Hoji to the lab (for some reason) and he spends the night. Ash is like: "You can share a bed with me if you want, so no one has to sleep on a couch!"

And Hoji looks at Go for a sec before going: "Hmm I prefer to sleep by myself. I kick a lot, ya know?"

Go sees where this is going but can't get a word out before Ash says "Well if he's okay with it, then Go and I can share a bed!"

Omg haha I hope so!! But who knows. The only reason Trustedpartner caught on is because nobody else had even considered shipping them at the time, and there was like no content of it. So I was the first person to pitch a ship name and even sorta bring it to attention (at least on tumblr) so everyone was like “Oh wow this is a thing a very good thing yes okay”

Meanwhile Ash/Gou immediately became popular and widely noticed so EVERYONE was pitching ship names for it all at once. So there’s more than one potential ship name for them floating around, including my own :’)
