With this particular lunch break of the school seeming most assuredly quite long indeed, Laurent had eventually left the school library after meeting that...most interesting teacher, and was now placidly sitting near the curious Otsukimi Pond, which he'd heard about but never visited. Apparently, rumors were high there was a pond spirit there, and of course, such a fascinating rumor as that, he simply had to check the truth of. Upon arriving, the scenery was - as with everything else in the school - very picturesque, and everything seemed quite peaceful here.
Ah, it seemed like quite a few people passed by the place or sat here, too, and he could indeed see why. It was so calming - a sense of peacefulness. There was a small shrine for the supposed pond spirit, as well, and Laurent paused to reach in his pockets and leave a shiny, nice apple there.
Though he watched the apple constantly, not once taking his eyes off it, it seemed that....at the moment, the pond spirit was shy and not wishing to talk. "Don't be afraid. I simply wish to talk to you and learn more about you...mind, this could be a rumor and I'm just talking to myself, but I mean no harm." Though he spoke softly, still no sign.
Continuing his patient watch of the apple in silence, eventually, Laurent felt like...he himself was being watched, and paused to turn, gaze locking on...a cloaked stranger. Hm. There'd been the son of the detective, Minaho - and now this person. Two people who observed right back as he watched everyone he could of the school - and so, Laurent simply stared right back, his bad lens glare and all.
"...Did you come here to pay respects for the pond spirit, as well?"
Eventually, after a long period of staring back, he would say this. He found people who observed as he did most intriguing, so he couldn't quite help staring right back.
