hi hello how are you? contrary to my busted sleep extravaganza last night, i actually woke up today in a chipper mood!
there’s still a heat warning, so no walk for me until the evening settles into comfortable silence. but for now…
i’m on one of the climax chapters. it’s interesting because gotn has multiple arcs in it.
wait wait wait imma yap lol buckle in, this is nothing new.
okay, so something different about evan’s series that actually carries a resemblance to tis more than tov or even coe (the spinoff series with fdryx) is that evan’s series has “arcs” in them. you’ve probably heard me talk about them before, but i wanna go in a bit more depth right now.
the books are set up into different “parts”, which aren’t evenly distributed through each book. for example. cos only has part one, where part two starts in gotn. BUT, here’s the thing about gotn that makes it slightly odd. part two ENDS about 85% through gotn, and the last 15% of the book is actually part three. that’s what makes it a little bizarre, and also why it has “two climaxes”.
climax no. 1 happens in part two, in the “evan in the north” arc. and climax no. 2 happens in the “assassination” arc. which is like a very mini intro arc to probably one of the most INTERESTING ARCS, “evan in the rings” arc, otherwise known as “the AK arc”.
regardless, i’ll list out all the arcs of evan’s series down below, unless they’re spoilers. then i’ll just say “teehee no no no 😏 🤭”
evan of the underground arc
the lc arc (👹) + its aftermath (it’s after the lc arc and feels like its own thing, but it’s not)
the therapy arc (HALLELUJAH 😭😭😭)
the “raheer” teehee spoilers hehehe 🤭 arc
lotf arc (HYPE HYPE HYPE)
as you can see, part two not only has the most ARCS in them, but gotn itself has TWO PARTS in it. so it makes for a highly eventful book
kk toodles ! happy writing :)
