In your Dc universe, are Thomas and Martha Wayne kind, law-abiding people, or are they entangled in Gotham's criminal web?
Oh, interesting question. Gotta be honest, I kinda hadn’t thought much about it before. Well, I’d say they were generally kind people who wanted to raise their son well, but perhaps still fell into a couple of the pitfalls most people trip over when they’re living in the upper echelons of society. For example, they could at times be a little disconnected from the common man, or Thomas could wind up getting involved in some unfortunate business deals in the corporate world (SO much stuff can happen behind closed doors in big companies, it’s a nightmare. Sometimes it kinda happens to you, other times you feel like you’re having to do the wrong thing for the right reason, other times it’s a matter of everyone scratching each other’s backs to keep the peace—there’s a lot, and not all of it is technically legal). They weren’t perfect people, but they did try to be kind and they wanted to help Gotham get back on its feet. Back to when they were kids and the city felt a little safer. And they wanted a better future for Bruce.
