Fly-GOT7

This song was my introduction to GOT7 and Kpop. My favorite part of this song is the pitch-bent synths in the beginning. It blew my mind when I first heard it and I became obsessed with the effect. Fly is the first song in the Flight Log Trilogy. If you aren't familiar with the Flight Log Trilogy, I highly recommend checking it out. I revisit it every year.

Eclipse-GOT7

Eclipse is different compared to GOT7’s previous title tracks. Lyrically it’s more serious. I don’t listen to Spinning Top often, but I developed a better appreciation for the album after revisiting it this past week. 

 Highlight-Seventeen

Highlight is my favorite Seventeen song. I don’t listen to this group much, but I became obsessed with this song after I saw the music video. I have a lot of happy memories associated with Highlight. It’s one of my comfort songs.

Placebo-Stray Kids

Placebo was originally a 3racha song. It was reworked and released as a Stray Kids song on Clè 2: Yellow Wood as Mixtape #1. It was later re-released on SKZ2021 as Placebo. I like the 3racha and Stray Kids versions of the song so I go back and forth between the two. It's fun to spot the differences and hear how they changed the song to fit eight members. Stray Kids released a performance video for Placebo around Christmas.
