Started The Pitt. Here’s the thing though, I don’t normally know character names until at least halfway through the first season and I’m only two in. Unless it’s a show where they really hammer it home, I have no idea what anyone’s called for so long. So here’s what I’ve dubbed everyone in conversation with my sister.
Went hunting today with my dad today. Such a better experience than hunting with my FIL even if we didn't get anything. But... We did! Barely 10 minutes after legal hunting time started a deer came out at the end of the road. I shot it-- BANG-- and it dropped. That's the great thing about neck shots. The deer just dropped on the spot.
Whew. Makes the last week of nothing worth it. And I shot it with a .270 instead of my preferred .243. Didn't even feel the kick.

These 2 are in my mind
They work too perfectly for a couple. They're the embodiment of Dog X Cat (one literally being a cat)
Both have a shared interest in taking care of children, battling with guns (they both use shotguns as their prime weapons) and they both really care about JubJub.
The only characters I know of that have a interest/actual care about JubJub are Boopkins cause it's his brother, Tari cause he's a duck, Shroomy cause he's a boy scout and loves taking care of kids/teaching them and Karen cause she's a single mother of 3 so she naturally has a care for children.
Hell, even ANTI, THE SAME DUDE WHO RIPPED A DEMONS HAND OFF AND SENT IT RUNNING AND ALMOST KILLED BOWSER CAUSE HE LOOKED LIKE A DEMON, cares about JubJub to an extent. He chased Meggy and JubJub around Meggy's house all day just to give JubJub a gun to make him feel better cause he was crying.
It makes more sense for the 2 middle aged children caretakers who are skilled fighters to be romantically involved over Swag and Karen. And Swag's waifu is Sonic, we've already established this.
To me, it just makes a lot of sense. Both of them are single and live alone (Karen has her kids so she's not technically alone). They could really use each other if Anti is still a thorn in Shroomy's side to control to a manageable level and Karen just needs the extra help. Also, it'd be very interesting to see Karen take a liking to both sides, possibly easing up Anti.
