a scene i was looking forward to drawing in season change but never got to that point, figured id draw it now
🌹 💥 for gorsefang my beloved
🌹 - is your character quick to fall in love or slow? do they deny their feelings or are they open and honest?
Gorsefang falls in love slowly! I mean, they did end up with Burnetpelt pretty early on in their life, yeah, but Burnetpelt was Gorsefang's best friend. They fell for him slowly, and they also hid their feelings -- they're a naturally stoic person who bottles up their feelings, so Burnetpelt kinda had to be the one to confess HFBHDFS but yeah! Slow to fall but they do fall hard, to the point that Gorsefang might not ever look for or be open to another romance beyond Burnetpelt.
💥 - does your character have any habits that impact them negatively?
i think you and i both know that answer
but SERIOUSLY yes they do >^<!! They're already a pretty emotionally stunted and unavailable person, ever since witnessing the death of their father as a kit. They're quiet, reserved, and most of their emotions are dealt with and bottled up privately until Gorsefang hits a limit and breaks. RiverClan is well aware of Gorsefang's outbursts under intense grief, especially after Burnetpelt's death, and they can be gruff, stand offish, and have grown reclusive from RiverClan as a whole besides Hollypaw and a select few cats. They isolate themself and struggle to deal with their emotions and uhhhh............ Snowstar in general is their bad habit. Just Snowstar as a whole person HFSDBHCD
That being said, Gorsefang isn't malicious in their habits! They don't do anything under the intention of hurting cats or anyone else around them, ever. They're unfortunately overprotective of Hollypaw after witnessing horrific events/losses and socially stunted. Snowstar was the first cat to reach out to them in their grief, too, and she is well aware of how she's taking advantage of them.
Gorse of Thornwood Sound
Who’s hollyclouds dad >:) & would he have been nice to her/changed his kids lives if he was alive?
holly uses he/him btw :3 but hollyclouds dad is burnetpelt! he wouldve been very good to both holly and gorse ! he was a very loving and warm-hearted tom, whose time came to a very tragically short end. he would’ve been an excellent father and loving mate to gorsefang though!
there was actually a scene i had planned in the comic that was probably one of the top 10 or 5 scenes i was looking forward to drawing! but it was gorsefang and burnetpelt reuniting briefly in a dreamscape :’) <3

oooh can you go into what your plan was for the story of snowstar's supporters who lived? i'm especially curious about acornbee, since her connection to snowstar made me realize that you don't often see villains such as snowstar who have a healthy romantic relationship with someone. (it at least appeared healthy in the comic!)
EEP THANK YOU it was intended to be a healthy relationship! OR WELL I’m not sure if it would be healthy truly considering Acornbee did like, enable Snowstar a lot, and they were two toxic people placed together, but I did want to portray in the comic that they did genuinely both love each other. They loved each other and they actually would have been pretty decent parents to their kits had they stayed around (but that doesn’t change the fact that Acornbee straight up abandoned them sooo... no matter how many ifs or buts they aren’t good people for sure) but that was an intentional thing! I wanted my villains to be rounded, so while they weren’t good people at all, they still had some interesting qualities that balanced them out, you know? Not pure evil, but just because they had the capability of doing nice things from time to time that did not justify or excuse at all what they did.
As for the villains and supporters!! I’ll do a brief little list right here under the cut :>!!

“Well, then,” she swept her silky tail, a pristine solid color, across the soft earth of the bank just beside her, an invitation Gorsefang seemed hesitant to jump to, “come sit with me.”
Gorsefang remained where they stood, rigid as the great willow trunks they had climbed as an apprentice. The molly’s smile fell.
“Come now, Gorsefang. Aren’t we friends? Sit.” Phrased as an invitation, but her tone read as a command. Gorsefang always followed orders.
