Oh right
So I'm going to be going away for two weeks from tomorrow. Initially my partner and I are driving to Melbourne for PAXAUS this weekend, then afterwards we'll be driving up to Queensland to visit family and friends. Because my mobile data cap sucks and because I'll actually be doing things, I won't be on Tumblr much if at all for the next couple of weeks. I'll still be checking my email frequently (if I've only checked my email three times in a day I was probably asleep for the whole day) so feel free to tag me in anything or send me asks if something comes up or if you just feel like it. 1. Lightsabers from Star Wars (Films/basically every form of media ever) - One of the coolest devices/weapons ever created - itās a sword but itās made of light! So cool! I have a light-up replica one of the saber Obi-Wan gives to Luke in A New Hope and it is my Precious.
2. Widget from Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (Video Game) - With each of the protagonists having their own unique ability to get to the truth, Athena Cykesā is pretty cool. Widget, a small device she wears around her neck, lets her interpret the emotions underlying witness testimony (when it isnāt blurting out her own feelings)
3. The Portal Gun from Portal - Seriously itās so nifty, thereās so many cool things you could do with it in real life in addition to all the fun you get to have with it in game.
18)Ā Top 3 fictional worlds/universes
1. Planet Zi from Zoids (Anime) - I just want to be a Zoid pilot dang it, I donāt care when in history, if I have to be a tournament fighter or a courier or a mercenary or a rebel soldier I just want a Zoid.
2. The Avatar world from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra (Cartoon) - Particularly around the time of Legend of Korra, it would be cool to live in such a dynamic period of time with technology and society evolving rapidly (plus yāknow, Iād hopefully be a bender).
3. The Pokemon world from Pokemon (Video Games/Anime) Ā - Canāt believe I didnāt think of this one sooner, I want to have a Mawile as a buddy almost as much as I want to pilot a Konig Wolf DSR.

15) Top 3 character backstories
1. The Avatar from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra (Cartoon) - I loved learning about the Avatarās past lives in A:TLA like Roku and Kyoshi and the story of Avatar Wan in LoK was one of the coolest parts of that series.
2. Frog/Glenn from Chrono Trigger (Video Game) - Frog, the valiant amphibian knight sworn to defend his queen, is a wonderful character in a game with a cast of great characters. Learning about his earlier life later on in the game is a feels-laden experience.
3. The Doctor from Doctor Who (TV Series) - As much as Iām leery of what the outcome of āThe Day of the Doctorā suggests in terms of the retroactive impact on the Ninth Doctor (aka my favourite Doctor), I did enjoy getting to meet the War Doctor and see this oft mentioned but never seen chapter of the characterās life.

Oh my god how am I supposed to choose this...?
1. The destruction of the first Death Star in Star Wars: A New Hope (Film) -Ā āGreat shot kid, that was one in a million!ā The Battle of Yavin, culminating in Luke Skywalkerās destruction of the first Death Star, is (IMO) one of the greatest climaxes ever in film.
2. Pug creating a rift in space to drop a chunk of a planetās moon onto a malevolent extra-dimensional entity in Wrath of a Mad God by Raymond E. Feist (Novel) - There are plenty of awesome moments across the 30-ish books of the Riftwar Saga but this one takes the cake for invoking the biggestĀ āholy crap!ā reaction out of me.
3. The destruction of the Death Saurer in Zoids Guardian Force (anime) - How can we take down this overwhelmingly powerful Zoid? I know! Letās fire the protagonistās Zoid at it out of a giant cannon mounted on another Zoid! How could that possibly go wrong? (It doesnāt though, the day is saved and the music is awesome)
