#fallforcostume Day 28: Recycled I recycle a TON of things for my costumes (and even from costume to costume). I reuse fabric pieces, hardware, props, wigs, and random junk out of my garage. Sometimes I also just go find things at garage sales or thrift stores and modify them. New for the office! I love this gray tunic style dress. It has pockets! Also, I did a coconut oil conditioning treatment on my hair last night so has again been engaged 😊 I got two compliments on my hair this morning so the bouncy healthier curls are definitely being noticed 😉 It was also observed that my nails, pink highlights, and splash of color in my outfit (my cami) all match. Another thing for the collection. Dug this genuine leather coat from Goodwill’s Halloween section. I LOVE this time of year because Goodwill’s Halloween section is the HOLY GRAIL of vintage and retro clothing items.
I also got a velvet dress from the 60s, though it needs to be steamed and the waist needs to be taken in, but it was so cute and cheap I couldn’t resist.
I love thrifting.
