#Repost @christhebarber123 with @get_repost ă»ă»ă» -Shared Fiction- A good fade is one that all of us on here have been conditioned to believe to tick all the boxes. -seemless (no start or finish) -shape (looks balanced and full/square from all angles) -close (generally the closer you take it, the harder it is to get a smooth blend) So we as barbers expect this from a âgood fadeâ But what do are customers expect from their fade? I hear some customers ask for a technically(in our eyes) âbad blendâ as they want to see the dark and light obviously set apart, which is hard for us who want the perfect blend to do, as it can look unfinished! So we can either educate our clients to look at fades as we do, or ...just give the customer what theyâre after! This is one of the reasons why we look at some barbers and think, how are they busy, they are not âgoodâ But maybe they have amazing personalityâs, clean comfortable shops, and give the client a haircut thatâs âgood enoughâ even if it wonât win any haircut awards. Me personally, I love cutting hair too much, so I go down the education route and aim for clients that have the same love for hair and maybe offer them a bald low blend(if they have the right hair for this) as me as it makes it more fun for me. Thereâs no right or wrong, the choice is yours! #goodenough #perfection #sharedfiction #fade #goodfade #blend #taper #customerisalwaysright #art #themhfed #mengomalegrooming #leighonsea #rayleigh (at East 2 West Cutz)
