GOOD CHO’S chocolate rose rusk sundae: icecream with rosejam, chocolate nibs, chocolate bagel bites [yuanshan station]
Taipei Day Four (1): Good Cho's
On our fourth day, we set off to look for the elusive Jay Chou cafe (near Taipei 101, in Xinyi district), and stumbled upon this super duper hipster/cool/awesome-looking place. I saw a wedding shoot taking place there, and was really curious about it, so we went in to explore.
It was another one of those stumbled-upon hidden gems, one that we probably would not have known to go. The place was half submerged by a small hill, so it was literally quite hidden. But this place, Good Cho's (好丘), is really really awesome. Hipster designer shop and hipster grocery store/cafe. I'd say it is a must visit.
The area is apparently a vacated military dependents' village (眷村), and had really old looking homes that served as a gorgeous backdrop for photo taking, such as this:
The address is 54 Songqin St, Taipei City, Taiwan (台北市松勤街54號).
Much love.
