imagine being the only heir to a kingdom, but being self-aware that you have neither the interest nor ability to lead the kingdom. you decide to see if you can find a husband who could be a suitable leader, and this is where Loki comes in. you had explored other alternatives besides a husband, but Loki was your first choice.
when you met Loki and got to know him, you realised that he had a very good disposition for ruling, and the knowledge of it, which was really quite convenient. so you ask Loki if he would like to be your husband and help rule your home kingdom.Â
after thinking it over for a few days, Loki agrees. unbeknownst to you, the reason why he agreed wasn't because he was eager for the throne, but because he loved you, yet did not have the guts to confess his feelings to you.Â
