         There was a terrible storm brewing outside, with howling winds and flurries of white snow blowing up against the windows, threatening to shake their foundations asunder and leave them exposed to the elements. No one in their right mind was going anywhere, not in these conditions, so Anton had politely suggested for Kurenai to stay with him at Luna’s flat for the evening - though insisted was more like it, if only in regards for her safety if she were to venture out by herself in the middle of a blizzard.

         He was relieved just as well once she agreed, and smiled all the way into the kitchen where he started making a fresh batch of French hot chocolate to commemorate the occasion, while presumably the hounds were still in the lounge keeping her company. For hounds of hell and literal man-eaters, they were surprisingly tame and well-mannered in their home environment, and were perfect for staying warm on nights like these; the hellfire burning inside their bodies made them ideal for cuddling during the colder months of the year, so long as they themselves allowed it. Valentino and Machi were usually open to Anton snuggling up against them from time to time - Archimedes, not so much.

          A few minutes ticked by and Anton soon returned with two mugs in hand, rounding about to offer one to Kurenai.
