[Long Beach, California] Today 8/16/#2018 is the 25th anniversary of the release of one of the best records ever made that few people know anything about. #1993. Who are they? ALL. Basically the newest lineup of the Descendents without Milo on vocals. With one of rock and country's finest vocalists @chadprice_ ..., @stephenegerton on guitar, Karl Alvarez on bass, and legendary Bill Stevenson (also was in Black Flag) @hopesticker on drums, they recorded this melodic monster in Memphis at Ardent (@ardentstudios) where the legendary power pop band Big Star recorded some 20 years earlier. Although classified as #punk, it was really just a straight ahead rock album with 50s/60s/80s pop influences. Some metal, some old school punk. I cannot say enough about this record. I still want to want to thank my long time friend @travisbarker (via @randracula) for showing me this record. We both agreed that there was nothing like it, and yet it was familiar at the same time. As much as I love the Descendents, there was something different, with Chad's raspy vocals that makes this record my absolute favorite.
