when Mark & Travis finally removed the muzzle from Matt & let him release the beast for this absolute banger. best song from Skeeb-182 ♡

I can’t even fathom how happy this makes me. This album came out 25 years ago (when I was 12). This band as ridiculous and disgusting as they are (I’ve come to terms as an adult I’d never let my child listen to them at 12) has shaped my youth. Skateboarding, dick and fart and mom and dad jokes, angst punk, long sleeves under my skate or band tees, getting in to trouble at school for thinking I was funny (I was), converses, dickies, dying my hair, and the emotions their music made me feel. They’re not the best band out here but they’re my favorite. I still own multiple copies of this album because they released it with three different CD art work. One being a plane (red), pants (yellow), and a jacket (green) symbolizing the album title “Takeoff Your Pants and Jacket” still funny and dumb af to me till this day. My brother had the green version and my friends and I would swap CDs in our discman so we could listen to the other bonus songs that we didn’t have. But this track “What Went Wrong” has always been such a favorite of mine and always makes me tear up even 25 years later especially after fully understanding its meaning and being able to relate 25 years later. I no longer ever have to listen to it in shitty quality in YouTube. Crazy that I actually got to see them perform this and it was only on one tour they did it. So if you understand the significance of this happening then congratulations because you’re just as excited as I am. My second tattoo ever was a blink tattoo. My first concert ever was Warped Tour ‘99. My brother told my mom he was bringing me to his friend’s house to go in the pool. He liked the line up and knew how much I liked Blink because of the “Dude Ranch” album. Between 1999 and 2026 I’ve seen them 20 times… And no their sets never bored me and I’ve genuinely enjoyed each and every show.
