I had already made that fanart of Cain and his wife (still pissed about him dying, btw), but when I first saw these pages they had me on a massive chokehold, and I IMMEDIATELY thought of doing this. This scene is so sweet! I had been waiting for these two to have a proper interaction since I read your fics on AO3, and as expected you nailed them. It was supposed to be all in good fun but I'm a slow artist, and then you announced the end of the comic, suddenly it all became so bittersweet, y'know? This show and this fandom have meant so much to me for the past two years, and maybe it's because my personal life is also going through some huge changes right now, but seeing season 2 trailers, and the new song, and seeing so many people I follow wrapping up their post season 1 projects... it really does feel like the end of an era.

I've followed this comic religiously, I even remember taking a minute to sit in a corner to read an update in the middle of a friend's birthday party... wild times, those. I'm gonna miss GOES so much, and thank you for the good times!

They already changed Pugsley to look more Latino from the OG comics. He could be seen as pale Latino. But Wednesday is fucking pale and white looking, like her mother. Not even close to the skin tone Jenna Ortega naturally is.
