Today is the big day. Do you know why?
Because we play our rivals today, obviously!
This is a big day for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and, most importantly, our football team. This rivalry is long-running, as you can see from the picture above. This somewhat deflated football commemorates our win over Albright in 1924. Below is a “LVC Proud” pin and a “LV” patch.
Are the rivalries at other schools intense? Our tradition involves asking for an extra day of Thanksgiving break. Fingers crossed we get that this year!
In honor of the first field hockey game of the season tonight, I thought I would give you all a Flashback Friday to the 1932, 1938, 1951, and 1960 women's field hockey teams at Lebanon Valley College.
I love how everyone's hair is absolutely perfect, even when they're playing. That's hair goals right there!
I'd also like to know what happened in 1938 for the uniforms to go from super long to short to long again...
